Air India operation system restored for six hours, regret the inconvenience to passengers
Chandigarh, April 27, 2019: Hundreds of Air India passengers were left stranded at number of airports across the world due to server problem for about six hours between 3 am and 9 am on Saturday.
As per the airline sources, the boarding passes could not be issued at certain major airports across the world with the result various flights were delayed as the software of Atlanta based SITA company was not functioning properly.
However, the Airline authorities regretted for the inconvenience after the restoration of the system which looks after check-in, baggage and reservation by the company.
