Cincinnati, USA, June 27, 2020 :
A woman customer came to Starbucks in in San Diego, CA. She was not wearing a mask. When Lenin Gutierrez, an employee at Starbucks, asked her if she had a mask, she answered, “No, I don’t need one.” When he tried to show her the paper provided to them by the company that showed that masks were required, she stormed out of the store, cursing. But she returned after a few minutes and asked the employee for his name, took a picture of him and left saying that she would complain to the corporate. She posted the employee’s photo on Facebook, describing how he had refused to serve her for not wearing a mask.
But that backfired. By June 27, 2020, more than $65,000 had been deposited as tips in a ‘GoFundMe’ account setup for the employee. The woman customer, on the other hand, had was trolled on social media, being called Karen – a term used to describe a white woman who acts as entitled in public settings. The woman has gone underground, claiming she is beginning to get death threats from unknown people.
