LMA organises talk on global taxation, transfer pricing
Ludhiana, May 20, 2017: Ludhiana Management Association (LMA) organized a seminar on latest developments in international taxation and transfer pricing by Rajat Bansal, joint secretary, Central Board of Direct Taxes here on Friday.
Bansal talked at length about international taxation and transfer pricing and the companies which have businesses in more than one country face these problems. He talked about statutes, regulations, new rulings, court decisions from around the world and provided in-depth tools on tax treaties.
Different countries have different tax structures and legally where a person has to pay the tax, he said dwelling on importance of a company transferring products or materials to another country.
He explained in detail various points a company has to keep in mind while doing any business with any other country or company so that the books are maintained as per the required statutes.
Bansal told the entrepreneurs about the tax measures taken by the Indian government to help the companies understand various aspects of international taxation and transfer pricing.
He gave various tips to professionals & organizations dealing in international business on diverse foreign regulations, standards for tax compliance.
It was a highly knowledge enrichment session on International taxation, attended by over 170 entrepreneurs, exporters, professionals and management academicians.
