Chandigarh, September 20, 2017:CII-Young Indians (Yi) Chandigarh Tricity Chapter signed the MoU with Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, today. The MoU aims to provide management students with a platform to work on and improve leadership and nation building initiatives under expert supervision.
As many as 500 students attended the orientation programme.
In tune with CII-Yi Yuva vision to influence, inspire and motivate students across the country, CII-Yi will work with Chandigarh Business School of Administration to provide students an opportunity to work in leadership roles at projects based on self-development, skill building, community service and nation building.
Ms Priya Malik, Chair, Yi Chandigarh Tricity Chapter, said, “Yi Yuva envisions connecting students with the movement for nation building. Achieving this broader objective requires the formation of ‘Yuva’ with various institutions.”
To inspire students, Yi Chandigarh Tricity Chapter also organised an experience sharing session by Mr KaranKaila, Yi Member & Director, Kaila Engineering Pvt Ltd, and a Talk on Entrepreneurship by Mr Vipul Kamboj, Yi Member & Co-Founder, Elixir Events.
Sharing his entrepreneurial journey, Mr Karan Kaila said life was a better teacher than books. He said experiences always help to improve, so youth should not hesitate in exploring new horizons.
Vipul Kamboj motivated the students to become job creators rather than job seekers. He urged them to follow their passion. “If you have set goals and your focus is clear, there is nothing you cannot achieve with hard work. Entrepreneurial journey requires a lot of hard work and try to do things on your own rather than taking help.”
