The panelists participating in the discussion on scaling up businesses in Ludhiana
Ludhiana, October 11, 2017: Ludhiana Management Association (LMA) organized an educative anf informative panel discussion on scaling up business in Ludhiana, the financial and commercial hub of Punjab. Over 200 Ludhiana industrialists attended the discussion.
Sachit Jain, Joint MD, Vardhman Textiles Limited and K K Jalan, Former Secretary, Ministry of MSME, shared their valuable remarks in the discussion opened by Jain. He remarked that passing on right values to the next generation of entrepreneurs couple with proper training, education and some work experience were vital elements of scaling up the businesses.
Gaurav Goel, Senior VP & Country Head, CBB, YES Bank Ltd was the moderator during the panel discussion by panelist Vishal Juneja, Director, Vidhata Group, Gautam Sikri, MD, Ramsons Cycles Pvt Limited, Bhuwan Goyal, Director, AP Refinery Limited and Ami Verma, Director, Techies India Inc.
The discussion aimed analyzing on how to improve the conditions for startups to scale-up, create more jobs and enhance market competitiveness. The panelist concluded that for scaling up the businesses we need to dream big, have proper values, work on people strategy, process & culture of the organization.
K K Jalan, in his concluding remarks, said that it was important for the businesses to work along with the government and understand their schemes and policies. He further added that the business must act as pressure group for the favorable government policies.
Dr. KNS Kang, President, LMA remarked that the business entities have to think big and act bold to scale up their operations. The best way to scale up the business was to listen to leaders who had successfully scaled up.
