Chandigarh, April 26, 2019: Reliance Jio which has been consistently increasing its subscriber base in Haryana has again added maximum number of subscribers in the state in the month of February, according to the latest subscriber data report released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Jio added 1.96 lakh subscribers in February in Haryana. With this its customer market share (CMS) has risen to 26.5% in the state. On the other hand,
Vodafone Idea lost 1.61 lakh subscribers in Haryana in the same month, Tata Teleservices lost 47,014 subscribers and BSNL lost 2,879 subscribers. Bharti Airtel added 2,590 subscribers in the month.
In end February Vodafone Idea had a total of 1.10 crore subscribers in Haryana, Jio 73.71 lakh subscribers, BSNL 49.06 lakh subscribers and Airtel 38.16 lakh subscribers.
Jio has acquired 73.71 lakh customers in Haryana within just two-and-a-half years of starting operations.
Reliance Jio is also the fastest 4G operator and recorded the highest average 4G download speed in all 12 months of 2018 according to TRAI. This year too it has continued its lead according to the TRAI data. Jio recorded average 4G download speed of 22.2 Mbps in March 2019 which is more than double the speed of its nearest rival Airtel which recorded average download speed of 9.3 Mbps in the same month, according to latest data released by TRAI.
