Palwal (Faridabad), December 30, 2016: Advance Institute of Pharmacy, palwal organized one day national conference (NCAIP 2016) on “Pharmaceutical Science Research: Drug Development, Validation and Analytical Methods” on 24th Dec 2016. More than 200 delegates, faculties and Industrial persons were present in conference. The conference was inaugurated by Chairman AEI, Shri Venay Gupta and further taken over by Director AEI, Dr. R. S. Chaudhary, Principal AIP, Dr. Neelam Singla and Organizing Secretary Dr. Arpana Rana. In the opening remarks Organizing Secretary welcomes all the dignitaries and delegates & addressed the gathering by sharing the importance of such activities. Conference was started with saraswati vandana as tradition of our culture. Chief Guest Dr. Kaptan Singh (Senior GM-API Research, Sun Pharma, Gurugram) delivered very interesting & interactive talk on “Challenges in process development of generic drugs”, which was motivational and learning for students and others. To enrich the knowledge and awareness of delegates Guest of Honour Dr. Gajender (Principal, COP, UHS, Rohtak) delivered a lecture on “Usefulness of Potassium Cyanide in Pharmaceutics”. Our Guest of Honour Dr. Kanchan Kohli (Associate Professor, Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi) also shared her views on importance and necessity of such conferences and emphasized to organize such of activities regularly for the betterment of Pharmaceutical professional.
The scientific session started with lectures delivered by Dr. M. Shaqiquzaman (Asst Professor, Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi) and Dr. Abul Kalam Najmi (Associate Professor, Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi), followed by Poster/Oral Session. Mr.Varun form GLA University, Mathura got first prize, Mr. Ankur from AIP and Ms Shilpa from Jamia Hamdard University got 2nd prize respectively in Poster. Ms. Garima from Jamia Hamdard University and Ms. Nidhi from AIP awarded best oral presentation respectively with the cash Prize and certificate. Session was ended by Mrs. Ruchika Kalra (Associate Professor Advanced Institute of Pharmacy) with vote of thanks and closing remarks by Mr. Vikas Jogpal (Associate Professor Advanced Institute of Pharmacy). The conference was a great success.
