Mahendraharh, January 03, 2017: To keep pace with changing time and changing demands of the occupation, Central University of Haryana (CUH)with the different forms of modern education, than he will not only play the role of a teacher but of a guide also., Mahendergarh will provide modern professional training facilities to the students of Bachelor of education (B.Ed.) and Masters of education (M.Ed.). These facilities will be made available with the help of grant approved for the university underPandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission for Teachers & Teaching Scheme. The university will provide pre-service training and professional training to the students of B.Ed. and M.Ed under this mission.Vice Chancellor Professor R.C. Kuhad opined that the future of the country depends totally on the teachers.If the teacher will be trained and aware with the different forms of modern education, than he will not only play the role of a teacher but of a guide also.
According to Professor Kuhad, “India is a country of youths and to transform it from a developing country to developed one, the school education system must be strong.”ThePandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission for Teachers & Teaching scheme started by the Government is an important step in this direction.He added that this is a matter of pride for us that our university has got a chance to participate in this endeavor."Associate Professor Dr. Sarika Sharma, HOD, Department of education, CUHtold, "By utilizing this opportunity we (university)will provide pre-service & professional training to the students who get enrolled each year in B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses."
Dr. Sarikasaid,"Under this scheme, we will get a lump-sum amount of about five crore rupees for resource development needed for teacher’s training.Along with it, from the next session a sum of Rs. two Cr will be also available on yearly basis for next four years." Dr. Sarikainformed, "Under this program we have added 21 schools totrain students. In these schools the arrangements for mandatory six-month training for B.Ed. and one month training for M.Ed. have been provided." Dr. Sarika said,"From the next session we will start training would-be teachers under this mission."
