Jalandhar / Kapurthala, June 23, 2017: with a mission of overall development of youth, I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University is organizing a week youth leadership training camp at Dalhousie for its main campus, constitute campuses and affiliated colleges students. In this regard, today Vice Chancellor IKGPTU Kahan Singh Pannu, IAS flagged off two buses of 80 students of the University. He gave his best wishes to students and also motivates them to give their best during the camp. He said that such camps generate the qualities of leadership in the students and are helpful for the overall development of students. He further said that it is important for students to take part in sports activities like NSS, NCC and cultural activities along with pursuing their academics. He said that such activities play a major role in imbibing discipline and developing strength and endurance in students.
It is worth mentioning that this will be the second camp of students. All camps are under the command of Director youth affairs of the University. Another youth leadership camp is already ongoing at Dalhousie from June 16 to 23 for girls. University is organising youth leadership camp at Dalhousie comprising of 80 students of the main campus and its affiliated colleges. During the camp, students will be provided with physical training and exercises. To raise the mental morale of the students various experts will deliver lectures on the discipline, values, sense of competition, community service and more.
