Chandigarh, October 08, 2018: With a vision to introduce new technologies in the field of Mobile Application Development to the students, Chandigarh University Gharuan played host for two day Google Mobile Development Fest (Google MDF-2018) at University Campus. More than 300 Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology Engineering students participated during the two day Mobile Development Fest 2018 in which experts from Google took practical sessions on Mobile Application Development which happens to be a glorious future for the IT professionals in India and Abroad.
“With the advent of new technology Mobile has become a true companion rather than just a medium to communicate” said Aajinka Kohle, a Machine Learning Expert from Google. The other Google Experts who took Google Tech Talks with the students included Gandhi Sampath, Saurabh Rajpal, Divya Nayyar, Kumar Gaurav, Lalit Singh and others. During the Google Tech Talks, the experts gave live demonstrations to the students on the emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Modern Mobile Web, DNA of Good Product, Android Platform Pattern, App Structure and Android Studio which happens to be in-demand in the field of Mobile App Development and offers lucrative job opportunities for the students.
Young and budding application developers Kartik Shandilya and Ruchi Singla who were winners of the Google Challenge India Scholarship also took part in the panel discussion during the Google Mobile Application Development Fest and shared their success stories with the students to motivate them to undertake mobile development as a serious career.
