Bathinda, July 10 2019: Dr. Mukesh Grover, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda (MRSPTU) has been conferred with Distinguished Mathematician Award from International Association of Research and Developed Organization (IARDO) at Vedant Academics Bangkok’s Award-2019 (Thailand).
IARDO is an apex body that promotes and encourages commendable achievements from all over the country after various stages of evaluation and verification subject to the policies framed by the Awards Committee.
The title Distinguished Mathematician is conferred to Dr. Mukesh Grover by the virtue of the powers granted to the IARDO Award committee on the occasion of International Award Conference on Multi-Disciplinary Research, Analyze, Evaluate and Application -2019 held at KU Home, Kasetsart University, Chatuchak, Bangkok, (Thailand) this month.
Dr. Grover’s main interest is Numerical Analysis and Fractional Calculus for finding the solutions of higher order differential and integral equations. He has done fundamental work in the areas of Real Life Applications of Numerical Analysis. Modern computation has provided us with the capacity to solve some tedious daily day problems that involve the use of mathematics. Numerical Analysis is one of the branching fields that are used to cope with the same.
Dr. Grover has been teaching for the last 12 years. He has 23 publications in the Reputed International Journals and Conferences. Four books have also been published including two national and two international levels for Undergraduate and Postgraduate pupils.
Expressing joy, Dr. Grover said, “I feel extremely grateful and indebted for receiving this significant award which boosts my confidence and inspiration to contribute in developing innovation in Mathematics,”.
MRSPTU, Dean Academic, Prof. Savina Bansal, Registrar, Dr. Ashish Baldi and Mathematics Department, Head, Dr. Karanvir Singh congratulated him for his achievements and assured full support from institution to further carry out his research work.
Complementing the faculty member, the University Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mohan Paul Singh Ishar reiterated his commitment towards continual research activities in the university. He congratulated him and wished him better future.
