Jalandhar,August 24,2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Ranked No 1 in India by India Today Ranking, 2019 with the aim of driving the students towards research always motivate the students. Making KMV proud, Ms Anureet of M.Sc.(Physics) Sem III have cleared National Anveshika Experimental Skill Test under the aegis of National Anveshika Network of India (NANI) in north region. She has got selected for quarter final test to be conducted at IIT, Kanpur to be held from September 13,2019 to September 15,2019. '
NANI is conducting National Anveshika Experimental Skill Test (NAEST) through all the Anveshikas to encourage the culture of doing experiments. In the north region, nearly 300 students from different schools and colleges participated in this test. Students from different institutes performed various experiments based on Young's Modulus, angle of deviation in prism, oscillations, internal resistance etc. Each student was to perform three experiments and based on their performance, best student at school as well as college level was shortlisted. It is important to mention that KMV has been granted the Star College Status by the Government of India for providing excellent education in the field of science.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Anureet for her brilliant performance and motivated her to perform well in the quarter final. She averred that in KMV we always provide the most suitable ambience for the holistic development of the student and to promote the research based aptitude among the students. She also lauded the efforts of PG Department of Physics for holding such events to boost the interest of students in physics.
