Patiala-based filmmaker's short movie 'Reh Spray' gets rare international awards

Patiala, April 14, 2024: Simranpreet Singh is an Indian Filmmaker based in Patiala, Punjab won Best Asian Short Film for his movie titled 'Red Spray' during Sttanavasal International Film Festival.
His film has also been selected for the screening in BDBRAIFF 2024. The short movie also won accolades at the Indo-Singapore International Film Festival.
In addition to this, Reh Spray also also been selected for screening in the Babashaheb BR Ambedkar International Film Festival.
After a decade of experience, he has now come back from mainstream cinema in Mumbai (Bollywood) to regional cinema (Punjabi). Where he wishes to tell stories in his language and communicate through film making with the society that once saw it as a taboo field.
