Chandigarh, October 9, 2019: The latest Punjabi folk album of renowned folk singer and dancer Paramjit Singh Sidhu “Pammi Bai” titled “Nach Nach Pauni Dhamal-2” was released here today. Pammi Bai has completed 25 years of his singing career this year and this is his 15th album and contains 9 songs.
The simple yet impressive function was held at Punjab Kala Bhawan and was attended by Punjab Police Housing Corporation Chairman Hardeep Singh Dhillon, State Information Commissioner and Punjab Virasat Manch Moga Chairman Nirdharak Singh Brar, retired IAS Iqbal Singh Sidhu and Punjab Arts Council media coordinator and writer Ninder Ghugianvi, launched first song titled “Ishq Di Moorat” from his album “Nach Nach Pauni Dhamal-2” and said that Pammi Bai is torch bearer of a legacy that promotes the rich Punjabi culture and heritage.
Pammi Bai said that in this age of single tracks, he has come up with a complete album comprising of nine songs, and it has been produced jointly by Nachdi Jawani Films & Music and Live Folk Studio.
He informed that “Ishq Di Moorat” is a “Kali” and has been released today in audio and video format. He said that second song “Baba Nanak” would be released on the occasion of 550th Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji next month and Pakistani singer Shaukat Ali’s son has also performed in this song. He informed that other songs of the album are “Nach Nach Pauni Dhamal-2”, “Gussa”, “Trala Tere Yaar Da”, “Rabb Di Saunh”, “Ishq Zaruri Hai” and “Boliyan”.
