Jalandhar, April 25, 2020: Amidst tension prevailing due to Covid 19 pandemic, the Saturday evening brought cheers for Ms. Japneet Kaur, who was celebrating her 12th birthday today, as in a noble gesture the cops led by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurmeet Singh made her day special by celebrating her birthday.
Due to curfew in the city Japneet’s father Roopneet Singh, who lives in Vikaspuri area of the city, was too much worried about celebrating the birthday of her daughter amidst such tension. He then sent a SMS to the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar seeking their help for celebrating the birthday of his daughter. Immediately swinging into action both the officers deputed Assistant Commissioner Mr. Randeep Singh Gill and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Gurmeet Singh to ensure birthday celebrations of girl in a befitting manner.
Subsequently, Japneet Kaur and her entire family was taken to surprise when officers led by Additional Deputy Commisioner of Police and Sub Inspectors Ms. Monica Arora and Ms. Sandeep Kaur reached their home with cake and gift hamper for the birthday girl. The cops celebrated the birthday of the girl during which Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar also congratulated the family for the special day on phone.
Meanwhile, Ms. Japneet’s father Mr. Roopmeet Singh and mother Mrs. Amanpreet Kaur thanked the civil and Police administration for making the special day of their daughter a wonderful one. They said that they have no words for expressing their gratitude to the officers who spared their valuable time amidst the Covid 19 pandemic and come all the way to share happiness of their daughter’s birthday. They said that these officers were a doing a real service of the society and Jalandhar was blessed to have them here.
