411 people from SAS Nagar sent to Uttarakhand and J&K
S. A. S. Nagar, May 05, 2020: The drive to send back the stranded people from other states entered its second day today. A total of 411 people were sent back from Mohali, and Kharar to Uttarakhand and J&K in 14 buses. This was disclosed by Mr. Girish Dayalan ,Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar. Divulging more, he said that the stranded people were thoroughly screened as part of the medical procedure before heading back to their home states. The social distancing norms were also strictly observed at the time of carrying out thescreening process and boarding of the buses. A total of 116 people were sent back in 4 buses to J&K from Mohali while from Kharar, a total of 72 people were sent back via 3 buses to the said destination. For Uttarakhand, a total of 223 people boarded the 7 buses back home from Mohali.
