SO FAR 24 PATIENTS HAVE RECOVERED FROM COVID 19 IN THE DISTRICT
Jalandhar, May 10, 2020: Cracking the myth that the Covid 19 was invincible five Jalandharites including a seven year old girl today won war against the Corona virus pandemic and were discharged from the Civil Hospital thereby bringing the total tally of recovered patients from the district to 24.
Mrs. Amita Mahajan, Ms. Umika, Mrs. Ajit Kaur, Mrs. Amarjeet Kaur and Mr. Sonu today emerged victorious against the Covid 19 after all their reports were tested negative. These patients were brought to hospital after their tests were found positive and had undergone treatment at the local Civil Hospital where a dedicated team of Doctors led by Senior Medical Officer Dr. Kashmiri Lal provided them treatment. Subsequently the samples of these five were taken after the treatment which was found negative and again when the report was found negative in the second confirmatory test these patients were discharged from the Civil Hospital.
Elated over their triumph Mrs. Amita Mahajan, Ms. Umika, Mrs. Ajit Kaur, Mrs. Amarjeet Kaur and Mr. Sonu thanked the hospital staff for taking care of them dedicatedly. They said that the state government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has made elaborate arrangements for imparting quality treatment to the patients suffering from Covid 19. They further said that there was no need for getting panicky from the Corona Virus as the Civil Hospital was well equipped for combating the pandemic efficaciously.
Meanwhile, the Civil Surgeon Jalandhar Dr. Gurinder Kaur Chawla and Medical Superintendent Dr. Harinder Singh said that as 24 patients have won the war against Covid 19 so it has been proved that timely treatment could help in overcoming it. They said that district administration led by Deputy Commissioner Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar was committed to ensure that the war against Corona Virus was won by all means. They said that the Health department was no leaving no stone unturned for this noble cause and was rendering its service diligently to the people.
