Bathinda, May 19, 2020: The Society of Materials and Mechanical Engineers (SOMME) will organise a webinar under the title “Online Teaching & Effective Learning: Bridging the Gap” on May 23 to help the teachers and the students in this unheard & gloomy phase of COVID 19 and lockdown.
In a press release issued here today, President of SOMME and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Dean, Planning and Development Dr. Buta Singh Sidhu said the main objective of the course is to create a knowledge sharing platform, in which the experts will discuss about how to make the online teaching effective through the use of different online platforms. Teachers of any stream and of any cadre from school, college and university level can participate in this webinar.
Various tools and techniques will be discussed about the online teaching, which will improve the learning at students’ level with a greater reach to each and every student, while staying at their respective homes.
