Fatehgarh Sahib. June 01, 2020: A high power team of National Highway Authority Ambala Division led by Manager Aditya Rana today inspected the sites purposed by the Municipal Council Mandi Gobindgarh to construct two welcome gates and 900 meter long over bridge near village Ajnali, Ambey Majra on the National Highway GT Road passing through Mandi Gobindgarh.
The team consisting BB Ghosh Bridges Manager, Nikesh Patel Highway Maintenance Engineer, Sumant Kumar quality Manager hold discussion with the team of Municipal Council led by Charanjit Singh Executive Officer, Local Congress leader and Industrialists in detail and heard their view point.
Executive Officer Charanjit Singh said that with the efforts of MLA Amloh Kaka Randeep Singh Municipal Council Mandi Gobindgarh has decided to construct two welcome gates on the National Highway GT Road near RIMT University and village Bhadla for the identity and beautification of the town, besides this Council has also purposed to construct 900 meter Over Bridge for the convenience of village Ambey Majra and Ajnali residents and industrialists. He said that Council has sought No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the National Highway Authority in this regard. The council has completed all the formalities and paper work. He said the team has come to inspect the sites.
Aditya Rana Manager Highway Authority Ambala Division said that Council has sent a proposal and applied for NOC to construct gates and over bridge on National Highway, so they have come to inspect the suggested sites and they have suggested certain proposal to the Council and final decision will be taken after properly scrutinising the fresh proposals.
