Modi 2.0 Ist Anniversary: Many historic wrongs corrected: Anil Joshi
Ferozepur, June 4, 2020: On the first anniversary of the second term of the Modi government, In a move to spread a word on the party’s achievements and its welfare schemes in the last six years by counting the successful completion of the first year of Modi Govt’s 2.0 period, Anil Joshi, former Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader, during the SAD-BJP government in Punjab, said the second year of the Modi government is a witness to many successes and historical stories.
Joshi said, the Modi government has solved many issues during this one year’s tenure the list of which is long one, which was an obstacle in the development of the country.
Thanking the party leaders and works, he said, Modi has not only rectified many historical mistakes during these six years but has also laid the the foundation of a self-reliant India moving on the development path by bridging the gap of six decades.
The image of India throughout the world has self-respect rather peculiar and decisive one, under the tutelage of Prime Minister Modi. He said, Modi has solved the historical mistakes during the last six years which were in practice for seven decades rather he has been successfully laid the foundation of self-dependent for moving ahead.
Anil Joshi said, in its first tenure, Modi government had focused on infrastructure, development and economic reforms and in the second term, the government has moved its steps towards unity, harmony and social and economic justice.
The central government has introduced - one nation, one constitution, one flag - for taking a decision to scrap Articles 370 and 35 A in Jammu and Kashmir to bring at par with India, taken steps to get rid of triple talaq Bill by Muslim women, to introduce citizenship reform law so that Hindus, Sikhs, Parsi living in other countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan and others could get Indian citizenship. Not only this, the Modi government also took the decision on the long-pending demand of the Swarn community by giving them a 10 percent reservation.
Lastly, he said, the steps taken by the Modi government during the Lockdown in the wake of Corona pandemic, with minimum deaths as compared to the global data has got recognition at all levels.
