MLA Pinki lauds role of NGOs during curfew-lockdown in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, Under the flagship programme – Mission Fateh - launched by Capt Amarinder Singh, today 250 poor families were given ration kits. He lauded the role of various local NGOs during the curfew-lockdown period in Ferozepur
MLA Pinki said that Mission Fateh will be meaningful only when all sections are taken along and it is ensured that no one goes hungry.
Pinki said that so far rations have been distributed to more than 25 thousand poor and needy people in Ferozepur city during curfew and lockdown period. He said that special efforts are being made to ensure that no one goes hungry due to rations. Although the curfew and lockdown have now opened, but still if anyone has a shortage of ration, he can get ration by contacting them without hesitation.
Appreciating the role of various local NGOs, Pinki said in this hour of crisis, the social service organizations of Ferozepur have made an important contribution. More than 28 thousand people were provided food every day in the city by social service organizations.
MLA said that the aim of Mission Fateh is to make more people aware of this disease, to control this disease, and to help the people, so it needs to be transformed into a mass movement.
