June. 22, 2020: Kaka Randeep Singh MLA Amloh today hold a meeting with the Sarpanches of all the villages falling in his constituency to review the development works initiated in their respective villages, to utilise the MGNREGA workers for the development of villages and further requirements if any. Similarly he holds a meeting with the Councillors, Congress leaders and industrialists of Mandi Gobindgarh town to initiate development projects as well as beautification of the town.
MLA said that the State Government has sanctioned Rs.15.25 Crore for various development works in Urban and rural areas falling in the Amloh constituency and it will be developed as model constituency by initiating various development works in rural and urban areas without any discrimination.
He said that Asia’s biggest Steel Town Mandi Gobindgarh will be developed as a “Model Town” two beautiful gates on the entry and Exit of the town at National Highway will be constructed and on both sides of National Highway passing through the town well decorated parks will be developed. He said that tenders have been floated for the Solid Waste Management Plant to be constructed in Mandi Gobindgarh and Amloh towns at the cost of Rs. 11.25 Crore. He said that work to lay sewerage in Amloh and Mandi Gobindgarh town will start soon. He said that Finance department has sanctioned Rs.4 Crore for the development in rural areas and the first instalment has been released.
Anand Sagar Sharma SDM Amloh assured the MLA that development works will be initiated on war footing and assured to maintain quality.
