Jalandhar, June 27, 2020: In another major development, 21 more coronavirus positive patients today were discharged from the local COVID Care Centre in Government Meritorious School, Jalandhar.
The patients identified as Ravinder Singh, Upinder, Balwinder Singh, Gulnaz, Priya, Mahinder, Bharat, Bhushan, Raj Kumar, Mamta, Anjali, Daksh, Dimple, Diksha, Akash Kumar Pandey, Sukhchain Singh, Charanjeet, Harjinder Singh, Mandeep Singh, Hemant and Saima were admitted to COVID Care Centre after they were found positive and had undergone treatment under a dedicated team of Doctors led by Senior Medical Officer Dr. Jagdish Kumar.
The patients expressed complete satisfaction over the treatment given to them in there. They thanked all the medical and Paramedical staff who took care of them in the last couple of days. The patients also thanked the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for making elaborate arrangements to take care of the patients in this hour of crisis.
Meanwhile, complementing the team of Doctors who have ensured the treatment to these patients, Civil Surgeon Jalandhar Dr Gurinder Kaur Chawla said that it was a major shot in the arm of the district administration in the ongoing fight against this pandemic. She said that with the sheer commitment of the medical experts and the will power of every individual Punjab in general and Jalandhar, in particular, would win the fight against this pandemic.
The Civil Surgeon said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, the Health department was fully committed to winning the war against Corona Virus.
