Faridkot : 10 patients win war against Corona +ve, discharged from Covid Care Centre
Faridkot, June 29, 2020: In a major sigh of relief on Monday, ten Corona +ve patients today defeated the pandemic by recovering from the Covid-19 virus and discharged from Covid Care Centre – CCC – Adesh Engineering College, as per the guidelines of ICAMR. Now only 7 active cases have been left in Faridkot district.
The Corona +ve patients have won the battle with their indefatigable will power and quality treatment facilities made available by the government at CCC.
On this occasion, the Corona recovered persons were presented a bouquet and best wishes by Vimal Kumar Setia, Deputy Commissioner and other officials.
DC said, no doubt presently there is no specific treatment for this virus but we can all win over this by following the instructions from the district administration and health department from time to time.
Meanwhile, the DC appealed to the people to be aware of the situation under Mission Fateh – the flagship programme launched by the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh – and also put wiser others to adopt the basic requirements – wearing the mask, washing hands frequently, maintain social distancing, staying at home and moving out only in emergent circumstances that too by taking all precautions, as per the medical protocol.
DC also complimented the team of doctors for ensuring quality treatment to the patients through which they were able to recover.
On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajinder Kumar said that till date there were 17 active cases of Corona in the district and out of these 10 people have been discharged today after recovery. Now only there are only 7 active cases of Corona in the district.
Civil Surgeon said, so far 9314 crore samples have been taken in the district, out of which 9088 have been reported. He also ppealed to the people to take the precautionary measures prescribed by the government and the health department to win over the pandemic.
On this occasion the Nodal Officer CCC and SDM Faridkot Paramdeep Singh, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kakkar, Dr. Harjot Kaur and paramedical staff were present.
