Fatehgarh Sahib, June 30, 2020: Though the COVID is spreading in the district, equally numbers of positives are defeating COVID. Today nine new positive cases surfaced in the district and nine were discharged from Gian Sagar as they were fully cured after treatment. Dr. N.K.Aggarwal Civil Surgeon said that out of these nine new cases two cases are of the close contact of COVID positive resident of Village Jakhwali, who is admitted in Rajindra Hospital Patiala, three patients are family members of positive admitted in PGI, two NRIs who were quarantined and their samples were taken were tested positive both of them had come from Kenya one of them belongs to Chanarthal village and other from Amloh area. He said one accident victim was admitted to PGI and he was tested positive there and is admitted in PGI.
He said that today nine new cases have surfaced and nine were treated and discharged from Gian Sagar hospital. He said that the tally of positive cases reaches 120, whereas only 25 cases are active, whereas rest has been treated. Active are admitted in different hospitals and all are in good health and none of them is in serious condition.
