- SDM Bassi Pathana along with police and other officials visited the Usha Mata temple complex and heard their grievances of Sadhvis quarantined there and they expressed satisfaction over the arrangements. Repeat test of all quarantined will be held tomorrow.
Fatehgarh Sahib, July.3. 2020 - SDM Bassi Pathana Jaspreet Singh along with police and other officials visited the Usha Mata Mandir Bassi Pathana, where the 16 persons including Sadhvis have been quarantined after the death of Swami Jyoti Maa Mahadev, head of the Mission, who died due to COVID and heard their grievances as they had made certain complaints for not making adequate arrangements.
SDM said that after getting some complaints he along with other police and civil officials and Niranjan Kumar President Beopar Mandal and disciple of the Jai Maa Mission visited the temple complex and interacted with the quarantined people and Sadhvis. He said that he asked Sadhvis about the problems if any they are facing during quarantine. He said Sadhvis told some minor problem of power failure, cleanliness outside the temple and he immediately resolved all the issues. He said power supply was disrupted in the town for a day due to thunder storm and moreover their internal wiring had damaged and got it repaired. The temple was cleaned by the Municipal Council staff. He said there was enough fodder for the cows, there was Diesel in the generator, and the ration was there in enough quantity. He said that moreover Sadhvis expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
He said earlier allegations were leveled due to internal politics of the Temple Trust. He said that as only one Sewadar was tested positive and shifted to Gian Sagar hospital and rest were quarantined, the re testing of all those who were tested negative will be done tomorrow and all have been called to the temple complex. He said that if all were again tested negative the temple will be opened from Monday onwards and if anyone tested positive, he will be shifted to Gian Sagar and all others will be quarantined.
