Departmental Inspectors go door to door demonstrating how to follow safety protocols
S. A. S. Nagar, July 05, 2020: Joining the long list of the departments making herculean efforts to popularize the 'Mission Fateh', the Cooperation Department today undertook a day long door to door awareness campaign in the three subdivisions of the District namely, Mohali, Kharar and Derabassi.
Contributing it's bit in the Mission Fateh campaign as per the guidance of the Deputy Registrar, Mohali, Suchreet Kaur Cheema, the officers of the department today undertook door to door campaigning sensitizing the common people about strictly following the safety protocols issued by the Health Department for protection from Corona virus pandemic, pertaining to Wearing of masks when venturing out, Washing of hands with soap and hand sanitizers and maintaining the social distancing. The inspectors of the department practically demonstrated on how to follow safety protocols.
Lending a helping hand in the noble mission were the various cooperative societies such as the Milk Distribution Cooperative Societies, and Rural Agricultural Cooperative Societies who also distributed masks, pamphlets and sanitizers.
During the campaign, it was also emphasized that since till date no medicine for the treatment of the corona virus is available, So exercising precaution is the only way to be safe from the pandemic.
Among others who actively supported the campaign included the Assistant Registrar Mohali Jaswinder Singh and the Assistant Registrar Derabassi Isha Sharma Inspectors Yatinder. J. Singh, Tanvir Kohli, Jaspreet Kaur, Jyoti Chauhan, and Akshat Punia.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Registrar Suchreet Kaur Cheema also divulged that such campaigns would be repeated after 15 days till date it becomes the people’s movement and resonates throughout the State.
