100% PIPED OXYGEN SUPPLY TO BE ENSURED AT 100 BEDS IN THESE CHCs
Jalandhar, July 05, 2020: In order to further strengthening the health infrastructure to combat the Covid 19 pandemic more effectively in Jalandhar, Deputy Commissioner Mr Ghanshyam Thori said that the district administration would install piped Oxygen Supply at 100-beds in three urban Community Health Centres (CHCs).
Presiding over a meeting here at his office in the District Administrative Complex, the Deputy Commissioner said that the move was aimed at meeting any sort of urgency, if needed, in the coming times.
He said that 100% piped oxygen supply would be ensured at 100 beds in the three urban CHCs including Basti Guzan, Dada Colony and Khambra for which necessary arrangements would be made.
He said that the facility would be provided by using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds in these CHCs.
Mr. Thori asked the local Sub Divisional Magistrates would visit these CHCs and would make the necessary arrangements for completing the work.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the situation was totally under control in the district and there was no need for the city residents to get. However, he said that the district administration was fully geared up to meet any sort of contingency.
Mr. Thori said that in this war against the hidden enemy the district administration would leave no stone unturned and every effort would be made to impart quality treatment to them.
The Deputy Commissioner said that there was no dearth of resources and manpower with the state government to tackle this pandemic. He said that the major focus was only on saving the precious lives of people from this pandemic for which all of us have to join hands.
Mr. Thori said that it was the moral duty of all of us to fight this war against Covid 19 effectively with better coordination.
