DLSA organizes online training for advocates on law on ‘Child Sexual Abuse’
Ferozepur, July 1, 2020: Under the directions of National Legal Service Authority, the panelled advocates were given online training by District Legal Service Authority – DLSA, on the law relating to child sexual abuse and prevention of children against sexual offences.
Amid Covid-19, online training was organized under the tutelage of CJM-cum-Secretary, DLSA Aman Preet Singh.
During the online session, Dr. Rohit Garg, speaking on the atrocities on the children, highlighted in detail on the law relating to the importance of fundamental duties.
He said, the law aims to protect children from offences of sexual assault, sexual harassment and pornography and in such circumstances anyone or any institution, can knock the doors of the Court. Even free legal assistance can also be sought, if interested.
Dr.Garg also discussed as to how law can be helpful under the various provision against the rising sexual offences in the society for the safety of the children.
