Massive protest by BSP against farm bills, announces support to Punjab bandh on 25 September
Hoshiarpur, September 20, 2020 : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) held massive protests against farm bill enacted by Modi government and announced support to call of Punjab Bandh on September 25 which has been called by Kissan Unions.
State President Jasvir Singh Garhi and District President Mohinder Singh Sandhar said that party is against these bill and this protest is for farmers and students. They also welcomed resignation of Harsimrat Kaur Badal and said that SAD should come on roads with BJP’s and Modi’s effigies.
They said that 10 BSP members in the Lok Sabha had strongly opposed these bills in the house.
They also demanded implementation of Post Matric Scholarship Scheme and punishment for culprits of the Scholarship Scheme Scam.
Mr. Garhi said that we protesting in this time of Corona epidemic which is the fault of Punjab Congress and BJP government at the Center, whose wrong policies led to passage of Agriculture Ordinance against farmers and poor students due to post-scholarship scam. BSP state president said that pursual of records of this scholarship scheme has exposed how BJP, SAD and Congress misused funds meant for students pursuing higher education.

Narinder Khanora, Sohan Singh Sunni, Karamjit Sandhu, Advocate Palwinder Mana, Malkit Sikri, Pawan Kumar, Happy Fambian, Manjit Sahota, Darshan Ladhar, Sunny Bhilowal besides others.
