The Bathinda District Administration comes in support of the LPG cylinder blast victims of Uriya Colony shanties near the closed thermal plant area.
It may be recalled that two kids of 6 years and 4 years age succumbed to injuries after a fire broke out in Uriya Colony on Tuesday early morning. Few people sustained injuries in this fire incident.
The District Administration today provided financial aid to the victims from the funds available with Red Cross. Rs 10,000/- was given to each injured person and Rs 50,000/- to the father of 2 girls, who succumbed to injuries.
A spokesperson of the administration told that administration has forwarded their case to the state government for further compensation.
Tehsildar Bathinda Paramjit Singh Brar and Kanungo AP Singh along with Secretary Red Cross Darshan Kumar provided the relief cheques to the victims.
