Bouncer murder in Mohali: Two gangsters nabbed after encounter

In an encounter between police and gangsters at New Chandigarh (Mullanpur) in Mohali, two gangsters have been arrested by the Mohali police.
The arrested accused have been identified as Vikram Rana alias Happy, resident of Teur village and Kiran Singh alias Dhanua, resident of Kharar.
They were booked in the murder case of Manish Kumar alias Mani Rana of Teur Village, Kharar, Mohali. An FIR no 120/2024 u/s 302, 34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act was registered against them at the Police Station Sadar Kharar.
Manish Kumar was shot and killed by two attackers on Tuesday in broad daylight at Kharar's Chando village. According to the police, the attack was the consequence of an ongoing gang conflict between two groups of bouncers. Davinder Bambiha gang claimed responsibility for the murder.
As per the information obtained so far, the gangsters were surrounded by the special cell near New Chandigarh. On seeing the cops, they opened up firing and in retaliation, they were shot in the leg by the police.
