SAD WOULD SWEEP SGPC POLL WITH A RECORD MARGIN • AKALI DAL (MANN) CANDIDATE KARAM SINGH BAHERA WITHDRAWS IN SUPPORT OF SAD CANDIDATE NIRMAL SINGH JAULLA Banur, August 29: The Shiromani Akali Dal President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today launched a frontal attack on Congress Party charging it for making unsuccessful attempt to make backdoor entry in Sikh's Mini Parliament SGPC through Panthak Morcha and express confidence that Sikhs sangat would fail these nefarious designs of Congress Party. Launching the Election campaign of Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Nirmal Singh Jaulla from village Dharmgarh here today S. Badal said that the Sarna brothers have betrayed the Sikhs by becoming puppet in the hands of Congress Party. He said that every day newspapers publish the photographs of Sarna brothers hounoring Sonia and Rahul Gandhi with Siropao. He said that no Sikh can forget the genocide of Sikhs done of the instance of Congress leadership in 1984 and no true Sikh would vote such of party that was being propped up by the Congress Party. He said that these elections were not ordinary elections as Sikhs would exercise their franchise to elect mini parliament of Sikhs. The SAD President said that SGPC had set up Rs. 100 crores Guru Granth Sahib University beside ensuring quality education to the students in SGPC run schools and colleges. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal has a 90 year old glorious history of sacrifice and nobody would be allowed to sabotage these elections. Describing SGPC polls as the trailer for the ensuing Vidhan Sabha poll S. Badal said that the party that would win SGPC poll would also win February 2012 Vidhan Sabha Elections. He declared that SAD-BJP government is set to get mandate from the people of Punjab to serve them for next 25 years. On this occasion Akali Dal (Mann) candidate Karam Singh Bahera decided to withdraw in favour of SAD nominee Nirmal Singh Jaulla . Prominent amongst those who were present on the occasion Morinda MLA Jathedar Ujjagar Singh Badali, Bibi Manpreet Kaur Dolly D/o Late Captain Kanwaljit Singh, Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, Chairman District Planning Committee Narinder Sharma, Rajpura MLA Mr. Raj Khurana, Bibi Sheelam Sohi, Jathedar Amrik Singh Malakpur, Member Zila Parishad Bibi Gulshan Kaur and Chairman Block Samiti Rajpura Narinder Kaur.
