Jalandhar, February 25, 2017: With the arrest of two migrant labors by the Jalandhar Police claimed to have solved the mystery of the murder of a migrant labor who was allegedly having illicit relations with the land owner's wife.
Jag Mohan Singh ACP and Devender Kumar Chaudhry SHO PoliceStation Jalandhar Cantt in a joint press conference here today said a case of murder was registered on the statement of Ajai Yadav (son of deceased Rajesh's Uncle) son of Chander Yadav resident Tulla Patti Pepra Shopor, Bihar.The deceased was identified as Rajesh Kumar.
Police said Ajai Yadav had been working for the past 4 years and Rajesh last three months as farm labors at Pritipal son of Amar Singh resident of village Bambiawal (Land owner) field.By the lapse of time, Pritipal started suspecting on the illicit relations between Rajesh and his wife Rajwinder Kaur and he took to heart about the love affairs with his wife.
Police said Pritipal along with his servants Ajai Yadav and Shiv Lal hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Rajesh Kumar. A deal was finalised to the tune of Rs 50,000/-each would be paid to both ShivLal and Ajai.
Police said as per routine Rajesh went to the fields to answer the call of Nature on January 14 at 6.30 AM,meanwhile, Protipal,Ajai and Shiv Lal chased and attacked with a knife on Rajesh and thrown in the field taking for granted that he was no more alive.
Pritipal then stressed upon Shiv Lal that he should name Sanjai Kumar's involvement in the murder.After a thorough investigation in the murder, suspicious role of Pritipal along with his servants Ajai Yadav and Shiv Lal after getting enough evidence against them, the accused were arrested.
All the an accused were produced before the Court of ilaka Magistrate, the Court sent both the accused to Police remand till February 27.
