Ferozepur, March 24, 2017: A massive rally against the anti-labour policies of centre government, was organized in front of the divisional office of the Northern Railway in Ferozepur with participation of employees of the division led by S.K.Tyagi, Central President, Northern Railway Men’s Union.
The Union leaders appealed to unite to fight against the anti-employees policies of the government.
They also condemned for not taking on board the office bearers of railway union of 4200 and 4600 grade pay safety workers.
They added that it is against the constitution of the Employees Union for retiring the employees with 30 years’ service or 55 years age.
The leaders also apprised the employees about the pending demands of 7th Pay Commission and demanded the release of its report at the earliest. The demand also include the restoration of old pension scheme besides giving employment to at least one child of the railway employee on the basis academic qualification by filling up the vacant posts, releasing of dues on time at the time of retirement and scrapping the contractual system.
Mukhtiar Singh said, a Zone Level rally will be held in front of Baroda House on March 30.
