Chandigarh, March 30, 2017: The Punjab Agriculture Department has decided to commence district level farmers' training camps from April 4, 2017. The purpose of these training camp is to disseminate the technical inputs and other knowhow of the cultivation of different crops.
Disclosing this official spokesperson of Agriculture Department said that as part of these training the camps exhibitions would be organised at the grain markets at the district level. He said that in order to impart the technical training to the farmers various teams comprising of the experts from the universities have also been constituted.
Divulging the detail of the camps the spokesperson further said that the farmers' training camp at Mohali and Fazilka would be organised on April 4, at Gurdaspur, Bathinda, Ferozepur and Hoshiarpur on April 5, at Pathankot, Faridkot , Jalandhar on April 6, at Sri Muktsar Sahib and Amritsar on April 7 , at Sangrur, Ludhiana and Roopnagar on April 8 , at Tarn Taran , Moga and Mansa on April 10 , and the farmers' training camp at Nawanshahar , Kapurthala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Barnala and Patiala would be organised on April 11.
