Indianapolis, August 19, 2017: Consulate General of India from Chicago Neeta Bhushan was the guest of honour on the second day of the four-day Cultural Journey: India which is being hosted by Heartland Film and presented by Lilly at the Indiana Historical Society, here.
Heartland Film featured a traditional dance performance, Indian food tastings from local restaurants, and a screening of the film “Ventilator”. For those who attended the cultural evening, it was just an 'amazing experience' as were treated to mesmering Indian dance performances, awesome food by Chef Suhel Anwar, and great hospitality by the organizing team. Danish Punjabi singer/dancer Anita Lerche thrilled the guests with her Punjabi songs and bhangra dance. All joined bhangra.
Jenny Bhupatkar Chakrabarti, Anindita Sen, Aparna Satheesan too earned lot of applauce. These artists are the backbone of the Indian music/dance/songs

The Cultural Journey: India featured a culturally inspired by Bollywood dancers and a world premiere film screening at the Indiana Historical Society. Over the four-day event, a collection of seven film premieres from India are being screened by the Heartland Film Festival.
On Saturday bike ride along the cultural trail and yoga on the canal would be the star attraction. Two films Dr Ramkhambai (1 p. to 4 p.m) and A Suitable Girl (6 to 8.30) will be shown.
