ADC Shena Aggarwal fast tracks pending cases
Dispose of 250 cases out of 1050 in 3 months

Bathinda: 13 October, 2017: Additional Deputy Commissioner Shena Aggarwal has streamlined and fast tracked the disposal of large number of pending cases in the ADC court. The cases relates to Food act, Revenue act and Stamp duty act.
During a reality check made by the babushahi team, it has come to the light that around 1050 cases were pending in the court of the ADC, when Shena Aggarwal assumed the additional charge on 19th June 2017. After taking over, she identified all the old cases and prepared a time bound list to hear them. Some of the cases were long pending since three years, which has been disposed and decided on priority by her. She had performed effectively and fast tracked the disposal rate.
Speaking with APS, Shena Aggarwal said “We have taken up the long pending cases on first priority. Almost, more than 250 cases have been disposed of within last two months”. We have streamlined the whole mechanism and earmarked a time to hear cases on daily basis added Shena Aggarwal.
Arpan Sidhu advocate has lauded the efforts of the ADC Shena Aggarwal in clearing the pendency of various cases. She said “Some cases were pending since long and people were suffering due to repeated dates for hearing. Some officials are not taking the revenue cases seriously”.
