Pawan Insan, Honeypreet in police net but Aditya Insan still on the run
Will Pawan Insan now help police arrest top Dera aide Dr Aditya Insan?
Chandigarh, November 20, 2017: The days of Dr Aditya Insan, the top on-the-run aide of the convicted Dera chief Ram Rahim, remaining out of the police net seem numbered.
He must be feeling the heat in the wake of the arrest of Pawan Insan, another close aide of Dera chief by Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Haryana police on Monday from Lalru town in Punjab close to Haryana border.
The police were after both since August 25, the day of their spiritual guru’s conviction in two rape cases and ensuing large-scale violence by the Dera followers in the beautiful Haryana city Panchkula, adjoining Chandigarh.
After almost three months in hiding, Pawan Insan became significant catch for the police after Honeypreet, the adopted daughter of the Ram Rahim. She was arrested in early October after being on the run for 38 days.
But the top aide Dr Aditya Insan is still at large. The trio was booked for sedition and instigating mobs of the Dera followers.
Apparently, Haryana police must be hopeful of getting clues to his whereabouts with Pawan Insan in its custody. Will he spill the beans?
If and when this happens, the masterminds of the conspiracy behind the arson and violence that left 41 dead and over 250 injured may well be exposed.
The trio was booked for sedition and instigating mobs of the Dera followers. An international alert had been sounded on them. They were named in the police list of 43 persons wanted in Panchkula violence.
