Ludhiana, November 21, 2017: The rescue teams recovered six bodies from the debris of Ludhiana plastic factory that collapsed after bring gutted in fire on Monday.
The search for more was on.
A district official told babushahi.com past midnight that the recovered bodies included that of local leader Laxman Dravid who was trapped under the debris along with others.
As per official estimates, about 15-20 persons including 9 firefighters were trapped under the debris.
Three bodies were recovered by Monday evening and three during the rescue operation which was continuing well past midnight.
Some more bodies were spotted and being taken out, the official added last.
There was still no confirmed count of those trapped.
Two injured survivors, rescued during the early search operation, were admitted in CMC Hospital here.
