Ferozepur, March 20, 2018: The Border Security Force 2nd Bn foiled a bid by Pakistani agencies to push arms and narcotics inside Indian territory when they arrested two smugglers intruding towards Indian side and seized 9 packets of heroin weighing 2 kg 970 gm, 2 pistols 30 bore, 4 magazines, 36 live cartridges, one knife and Rs.270 in Pakistani currency besides two mobiles and three Pakistani SIMS with 14 packets of Dunhill cigarettes.
The intruders were indentified Mohammad Aslam alias Pehlwan son of Mohammad Sarai Din and Mohammad Shakeel alias Nizam Ali son of Mohammad Aslam resident of Sabaz, Kangna Pur police station, District Kasur, Pakistan. From the names, they look to be father and son.
Later on, they were handed over to the Fazilka police for further investigation.
