Whole Team Elected Unopposed
Patiala, April 17, 2018: Gagandeep Kaur Teja was today elected President of the Patiala Media Club (regd.) Patiala. The whole team was elected unopposed after completion of scrutiny and name withdrawal process.
Announcing the results, Ujagar Singh former DPRO and Returning Officer of the election disclosed that whole team had been elected unopposed after withdrawal of candidature by Chiranjiv Joshi for the post of Joint Secretary.

Apart from Gagandeep Kaur Teja from The Tribune, Rajesh Sharma Panjola from Punjab Kesari was elected Secretary general, Navdeep Dhingra from Punjabi Jagran as Senior Vice President, Parmeet Singh from Jagbani as Secretary, Gurpreet Singh Chattha from Daily Ajit as Cashier, Manish Sirhindi from Times of India and Khushvir Toor from Sach Kahoon as Vice Presidents, Bharat Bhushan from Hindustan Times as Joint Secretary Photo journalist, Sanjay Verma Dainik Jagran and Yogesh Dhir Dainik Sawera as Joint Secretary and Kawardeep Singh Hindustan Times as Press Secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, Gagandeep Kaur Teja said that she was thankful to all the members who elected the whole team unopposed. She said that her team would try to complete the unfinished tasks apart from working for betterment of journalist fraternity.
Mr. Rajesh Sharma Secretary General said that all team members have done a great decision to elect first ever Woman journalist as President of the Patiala Media Club and he was hopeful that Gagan K Teja will set a great example with her accomplishments.
