Chandigarh April 23, 2018: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has announced that MSMEs having connected load up to 20 kilowatts (KW) would be charged at the rate of Rs 4.75 per unit instead of Rs 6.65 per unit with effect from May 1, 2018.
The difference would be transferred by the Industries Department directly into the bank account of beneficiary units through DBT.
The CM made this announcement when a delegation of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) led by Chairman, CII, Northern Region, Sachit Jain called on him here today. The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for announcing this major incentive for MSMEs.
Meanwhile, the Industries and Commerce Minister, Vipul Goel has also thanked the Chief Minister for slashing the electricity rate for MSMEs having connected load upto 20 KW and said that this is a big step forward by the State Government towards promoting MSMEs in the State.
Principal OSD to Chief Minister, Neeraj Daftuar was also present on this occasion.
