Fatehgarh Sahib, June 01, 2018: Bharat Vikas Parishad Sirhind started three day summer camp for girl students from the different schools of the district. More than 150 girl students from 10 schools are participating in the camp. Subhash Sood leading social worker um president of Ashoka Educational Trust along with Paramjit Kaur Sidhu District Education Officer inaugurated the camp, where as Sandeep Kaur Saini DSP Headquarter was the guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering DEO called upon the students said that such camps helps in overall development of personality, which is need of the hour.
Subhash Sood appreciate the efforts of Bharat Vikas Parishad for organizing three day camp for girl students and said it will boost the morale of girl students. He stressed the need for mandatory education to girl students as educated girl becomes source for two families and moreover will impart education to their children.
DSP Saini said that girls are competing with boys in every sphere so they should aim high to achieve any target. She said girls have occupied highest posts in the country. She exhorted them to wage a war against social evils.
Harbhajan Singh Child Development officer, Principal Sarabjit Singh, Rajesh Dhiman, Gaurav Bhardwaj, Dipin Mangi, Nitin Sood, Manish Mangi, Puran Sehgal, Balwinder Moudgill and Sumit Modi also addressed.
On this occasion the dignitaries were honored.
