12-day induction training programme by MGSIPA in Moga concludes

Moga, July 17, 2018: A 12- day Induction Training Programme launched by Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA) Punjab for newly recruited employees of Group B and C of Moga district concluded on a successful note.
This programme sponsored by DoPT, Government of India was aimed to equip the employees with latest rules, office procedures and practices to ensure speedy delivery services to the public.
This programme has four sessions on each day on varied subjects like office procedures and practices, financial matters, Sevottam, audit and budget, e-Governance, gender issues, protection of rights of disabled people, induction training programme, COMMIT and other related issues.
All these training sessions were addressed by experts in their respective fields. The list of eminent experts includes Dr. Taran Arora, Head of the Law department of Central University Bathinda, Senior Advocates Darshan Singh Bajaj and Kashmir Lal, Dr. R.K. Sharma Course Director MGSIPA, Lakhwir Singh Mann Enforcement Officer (Retd).
The Assistant Commissioner (General) of Moga district Mr. Lal Vishwas, while presiding over the concluding ceremony lauded the initiative of MGSIPA for meeting the training needs of employees.
He emphasized that learning was a continuous process and the Govt. functionaries need to be equipped with knowledge of latest rules and innovative practices to ensure speedy disposal of official business as per rule book. He encouraged the employees to work with commitment and dedication to bring about efficiency and transparency in the administration.
Jarnail Singh, Regional Project Director, MGSIPA, Bathinda said that besides academic training in the programme, a blood donation camp was also organized with the assistance of district health authorities and blood bank society in which the participants in the programme donated 15 units of blood.
A field rural visit of the participants to village Ransih Kalanwas was also organised by Assistant Commissioner (General), Moga. He said that MGSIPA Institute under the dynamic leadership of Sarvesh Kaushal, Special Chief Secretary-cum-Director General and Raji Shrivastva, Director of the Institute, have introduced various revolutionary inputs in the training programmes, thus giving a major fillip to the training activities for IAS, PCS and other State Cadre Services.
