Chandigarh, July 20, 2018: The staff training institution of the Punjab State Cooperative Bank at Jalandhar has been awarded the national honour by the National Federation of State Cooperative Banks, Mumbai for rendering exceptional services.
The award was received at Mumbai by the Additional Chief Secretary Cooperation-cum-Chairman Punjab State Cooperative Bank, DP Reddy, MD Dr. S.K. Batish and Principal of the training institute Dr. S.S. Brar.
The Cooperation Minister, Punjab, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has congratulated the officers and the personnel of the institution for this prestigious honour.
It is worth mentioning that the `Agricultural Cooperative Staff Training Institute’ was established in 1986 at Jalandhar and trains the officers and personnel of the bank, employees of the primary agricultural branches, chosen representatives of the managing committee and also the employees as well as officers of the Cooperation Department in keeping with the latest trends.
