Chemical free, organic products to be sold at the event
Bedsheets, fulkaris, embroidered suits, sarees will be available

Adding festivities to this season, the district administration in collaboration with Glamour and Bloom boutique of Government ITI College (Girls) is organizing Bathinda Haat on Oct 25 and Oct 26, 2018 at Dunes Club.
Giving this information here today Deputy Commissioner Bathinda Mr Praneet and ADC (Development) Mrs Sakshi Sahwney stated that the organic products will be available at the Bathinda Haat. Besides these Self Help Groups' prepared products like bedsheets, fulkaris, embroidered suits, sarees etc will also be available.
Keeping in view the forthcoming karva chauth season, mehendi and nail art will also be available. Youngsters who have attained training in self employment courses from State Bank of India's Rural Self Employment Training Institute (R-SETI) will display phulkari dupattas, phulkari baagh, Croatia works, hands bags etc. Five organic farmers from Bathinda will sell their organic grown products including vegetables, honey, pulses, jaggery, rose water, mustard oil, atta, rice and other products.
Phool block's village Kaloke and Phoolwala Self Help Groups will display items for home décor, hand made fans and durries. Similarly, self help groups from village Burj Singh Wala and Harnam Singh Wala will display hand knitted sweaters and shawls. Punjab Agro too will put up its organic products like maize Dalia, wheat Dalia, whole grain atta, basmati rice and maize atta on sale.
Mrs Sakshi Sawhney appealed people to participate in the mela.
