Experts from the renowned fields to give career related guidance

Jalandhar, November 16: Deputy Commissioner Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma today solicited fulsome support and active participation of the leading educational institutions to make Sports and Career Awareness Festival (SPARK) Mela a huge success which would be held on December 18 and 19.
Presiding over a meeting in the district administrative complex, Deputy Commissioner said that this initiative is aimed at giving a new direction to the youth of the district by guiding them for best career. Mr Sharma said that most of the students face a major dilemma for selecting their career after matriculation.
Mr. Sharma said there was a chronic problem that students were largely not aware of the field to choose in their lives. He added that this mela would give right direction to the students by guiding them for best option after matriculation.
The Deputy Commissioner also stated that this career counseling Mela would certainly provide requisite support and logistics to the students for choosing their career in a better manner.
He informed that several experts from the renowned fields would address the students to give career related guidance to them. He also said that stalls would be installed by the educational institutions, who would advise the students on this matter.
Mr. Sharma exhorted the students must avail the benefits of such sessions to carve a niche for themselves in life.
He further appealed the private individuals to become a part of this mass movement to transform the destiny of our youth by contributing generously.
