Punjab CM is sympathetic to the demands of employees: Ankit Bansal

Mohali, 13 December, 2018: Punjab government employees led by Saanjha Mulazam Manch, an umbrella body of 23 employees' associations, held a protest march wearing black dresses in Mohali today and criticised the government's "indifferent" attitude. Large number of employees from Punjab and Chandigarh participated in the protest. They were planning to reach Punjab Vidhan Sabha, but they were not allowed to move beyond VIP chowk Mohali.
They shouted slogans the state government. They also blocked the VIP chowk for few minutes; the administration informed the senior officials and the officials of the Chief Minister office.
Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh directed his Officer on Special duty (OSD) Ankit Bansal to meet the demonstrators and receive the memorandum.
OSD Ankit Bansal reached the venue of the protest and held a meeting with the demonstrators. He addressed the gathering and received the memorandum.
Addressing the employees, Ankit Bansal assured them that their demands will be considered sympathecally by the CM and he is very keen to address the problems and demands put forth by the Sanjha Mulazam Manch leaders.
