Chandigarh, January 18,2019: Punjab's Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu is all set to ask the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to not allow construction in the surroundings of Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara as the place has religious significance for the Sikhs across the world.
"I will write a letter to Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a day or two, to ask him to declare the area construction free zone" Sidhu said and added that Imran Khan will surely accept his request.
Sidhu who had gone to Chhatbir zoo to inspect the developmental works said during his visit that Kartarpur Gurudwara is extremely important for Sikhs as it belongs to the first Guru - Guru Nanak Dev. He said that the place should be declared as no-construction zone so that the signs of first Guru that are still present should not fade away.
